I actually had this discussion w/my mother & sister on Christmas. For any Washingston readers, if you take your containers to Nordstrom (which is the most popular place to purchase MAC around here) you only get the choice of a lipstick, but if you go to an actual MAC store you get the 3 options. Thankfully we have one in Seattle.

Stephanie- even some of the pencils are made from plastic, and those count towards your 6!

Emmy- I've only done it with some of my MAC lipsticks I don't wear much, in order to recycle them and get a new product. I don't think I could bring myself to cut up a Chanel or Tom Ford lipstick!

On another topic- I was just reading your post on Byredo perfume (Pulp is my fav.), just wondering where if you would know where I could purchase it on the internet. Their official webshop doesn't deliver to Japan (and I was too stupid not to have bought while I was still in Australia).

Glad you like the idea Mel! There are lots of videos on youtube that show you how to depot eyeshadows, so you can put them all in one palette. I've done this to all mine and it's awesome!

Ooohhh...thanks Steph! I LOVE this idea. I never wear lipstick cause I can't be bothered/am too lazy to reapply, and half the time I can't even find a single tube of anything when I need it. This is the perfect solution!! I just might have to buy several of those pots though...just so I can put a stack in all my bags!
