Hong Kong & Shanghai - Instagram

L: View of Hong Kong from Victoria Peak.

R: Nike Gyakusou store

L: Angry Bird CAKES.

R: I was really taken by the interior of the elevator at The Ritz-Carlton. The walls were covered in leather pebble-shaped pieces with mirror in between. I wouldn't mind an entire wall like that! The Ritz has the highest bar in the world, so we went up to take in the view and a few drinks. Good blackberry mojitos.

L: Rick Owens HK. Only one store left (Seoul) and I've completed the world tour!

R: The leather-clad change room.

L: Went to the Ap Lei Chau outlets to peruse Lane Crawford, Joyce and IT. Soooo much Rick Owens (especially footwear) it was insane. Pictured is an entire display case full of Ann Demeulemeester and Margiela accessories at 65% off. I got two things, but I really wanted take my arm in there with great sweeping motions and dump everything into a shopping cart in a dramatic way.

R: Being a breakfast glutton (and also taking a break from dim sum), I had a McDonalds breakfast extravaganza in Hong Kong. It was a pretty hefty combo meal including pancakes, 2 english muffins, scrambled egg, sausage patty and hashbrown puck. It was a bit ambitious.

L: Stood in line for an hour in Shanghai so J could get some tasty xiao long bao. They were working pretty hard in the kitchen to keep up with the massive line-up.

R: Race day! No torrential rain and no sunburn! I say a success.
