The last few days I've had a bit of a surge of energy. I have a lot of work to do right now and instead of procrastinating like normal, I'm actually doing it. And look, I've even taken a rare outfit photo! Plus, I'm pleased that all my Christmas shopping is already done, but now my mother is sending me out on missions to look for gifts for her! I don't mind though. I seem to be in the Christmas spirit more so than any year before in my adult life. I've already brought out the tree decorations and am eager to go buy a fresh tree. I am partial to the Alpine Fir, for their well spaced branches and minimal look. I'm not sure where this positive energy is coming from but I'm hoping it stays for a while and I don't jinx it by posting about it here!

i officially have coat envy. i just consigned my only coat because it never actually fit. now to find another...i am so picky about coats.
i have a lot of energy lately, too, which i attribute to our amazing (chilly) weather. no more heat wave.

I love when I see a person in a look that if I passed them on the street I would stop to take a second glance. In Seattle it is a very rare occasion as most people here are in North Face jackets. I saw a woman in head to toe Balenciaga once & it was only the only time I stopped to admire that I can remember. I would stop to admire this look you are wearing.
