I had never been to the Paris catacombs, so J and I went a little while ago on a weekday when it wasn't busy. It had rained the day/night before so it was very wet down there, which made it extra creepy. It's really awe inspiring. With each skull I like to think about who that person was, what they did and how they lived. I love history, and living in a city with such a rich and fascinating past gives me endless things to daydream about: The church I pass on the way to school, the building I live in, the cobblestone streets....

(rick owens jacket, club monaco cashmere scarf, tsubi jeans, guidi boots, balenciaga bag)

It's outfits like this that remind me of the things in my wardrobe that are missing. An olive scarf and an olive bag with purple-toned boots? Sheesh. It reminds me that I need a black scarf, and later on a new black bag. Sometimes you just have to throw shit on to get out the door, and this is one of those outfits. To be honest I've been wearing a variation of the same thing for almost 2 months. It's only recently warmed up and I've started wearing different things (ie. not jeans 24/7)

I still haven't been down there.
I really want to go when I'm in Paris next time.

i think you look totally fine but i get what you mean. nothing like photos to reveal what one's wardrobe needs and doesn't need. :)
i need to visit these catacombs. there's a beauty in the rows of skulls that's hard to quantify. they're like a landscape.
great photos.
