Sorry I've been absent, but I've been busy packing up, traveling and settling into our new apartment in Paris. It feels really surreal typing that.
It's been so chilly here the past few days, so I'm really glad I brought my bulky but warm fur coat. I love that I don't have to think twice about throwing it on. I don't have to worry about people giving me dirty looks like they would back home in the land of fleece and gore-tex. I wore it with monkey fur (hair?) trimmed leather gloves that I bought last year at Le Bon Marche, too!
We took Santos to the Tuileries to check out areas for her to run around off-leash. We let her sprint up and down between the hedges, which she seemed to enjoy. She even met a French greyhound who ran around with her! I love that she is allowed in stores and restaurants. It's especially nice when it's cold out. She's wearing two sweaters and a neck-warmer in this picture. She trotted around Printemps and even got comfortable, lying down in the Celine section while I petted the Spring 2011 collection. I think she may like it here :)

Anyway I wanted to say you should check out the All Saints boutique on Faubourg St honore, you might like the clothing there or you can also check out the label Mont st Michel, it's'in the same style range as APC.

That is too cute, re: Santos going shopping. Paris sounds wonderful.
For someone who doesn't consider themselves a 'dog person' you certainly make puppy strolls through Paris seem enticing. Somehow I doubt Celine would be so keen on my cat coming to visit.
