Recently my local cobbler introduced me to the Tacco eraser. It is a cleaning eraser for suede, velour and nubuk with tiny sand particles. You can use it on shoes, clothing and handbags, and I must say the results are remarkable. This "eraser" removes the stain without destroying the nap of the suede.

Before (ewwww... I know)

After!

It's not 100% removed, but a pretty significant improvement, without having to use any sprays or liquid cleansers that could alter the colour or texture. I even went over the straps and around the sole closest to the ground to remove dirt and any little black marks or scuffs that I got over the summer. I love taking care of my shoes.
(sandals Balenciaga- THE most uncomfortable sandals in my closet)

Thanks!

best tip ever, THANKS, I'm on my way to clean and pretty open toes again!
Nicole- Hi! I'm in Vancouver. Check your local cobbler, I'm sure they will have something like this in stock.
that's amazing! i'm going to have to hunt some down! thanks!
I wonder if this would on bags too?? I don't have a cobbler, but I should definitely find one that can hook me up. I have a suede bag that I no longer use cause there are so many little dirt marks that make it look too gross to carry around. But you just re-newed my hope!
wow this is amazingness.
thanks so much.
i love stumbling upon these little tips on the internet.
this is such a nice surprise, i didn't realise such an item existed.
