I finally framed an old map of Paris that Jon got me. The Eiffel Tower isn't even on there yet. A few weeks ago my friend Mauri and I went to the Vancouver Art Gallery and he pointed out how one of the artists framed their photograph with a lot of white space at the bottom. That idea stayed with me so I decided to frame the map similarly. Having my own hand-held mat cutter is very handy for instant-gratification projects like this.

I'm intrigued by those tall glass jars. I like how neat everything is.
My counter tops are usually covered with dust, handbags, water bottles, cups, magazines, you name it within seconds of me cleaning it up.
xing + HAL- thanks!
h- I love bell jars. This dresser is usually covered with dust- it collects it within 10 minutes of dusting it.
Stylish!Talking about the old map...you got a treasure there! I like that wood there!
that looks gorgeous, i love the way you framed it.
Looks really good!
I need to do some framing as well. :)
Great mobile!
also, what paint colour is that on the walls????
DJ- the wall colour is "builder's white" I think it's just the lighting that makes it look like a light grey.
i LOVE your mobile
