a few of my favourite things

I've boiled down my favourite spring looks to these:

Favourite Spring Looks - Dries Van Noten

Favourite Spring Looks - Celine

Favourite Spring Looks - Givenchy

Favourite Spring Looks - Haider Ackermann

Favourite Spring Looks - Ann Demeulemeester

As you know, I find dressing in spring/summer to be most annoying, and I'd rather just skip to Autumn, but these looks are making me want to make an effort this spring/summer. The Dries collection surprised me, because I'm not usually interested in patterns, much less tribal Uzbek ikat prints! But I really like it and might try it myself (with low cost versions obviously) I'm also really drawn to that one-sleeved Haider Ackermann dress- so amazing!

Haider sooo good. Loved the prints at givenchy too.
I don't know what it is about dries, the runway presentation never grabs me, but when I see the pieces individually i like them.

I love all your choices! DVN and Ann D are just so good...the beauty of DVN is that his clothes are made for real woman and just wear so well.

I love all your choices, and I know what you mean about summer dressing! All I want is to wear boots and tights and a dress and another dress with a hood and a vest and a scarf, but it is perma-summer here and it kills me.

You are lucky to live somewhere that gets snow!

those haider dresses are sublime. especially the black column dress! i'm really feeling the styling from the dries show as well - slouchy sweatshirt over silky print dress is a look i can play around with with what i have!

Your selection is very interesting.
The last collection of Ann Demeulemeester is amazing, always
also poetic and dark but so
captivate, magnetic and mysterious...
