I like to think that that last image is of a long coat too. I like the fur peeking out like a furry chest. I'm hoping I'll find a black one to buy and I can sew my own camel version. I love sewing wool. That second images is yet another reason to get white jeans, but knowing me I'll probably chicken-out. I swear that the olive coat up there is Prada and I've seen it for sale online, but for the life of me I can't find it again, so I think maybe I made that up to torture myself.
It's actually been kind of chilly here lately (snow on the local mountains!) and I could probably even get away with wearing a coat like this right now.

alt's is just perfect of course, no surprise there.
I lived in cooler climates for six years and constantly cursed the lack of sunshine. What I didn't realize then was I was cultivating a love of coats and layered winter dress. Now, that I'm in perpetual summer weather, pictures of pretty coats make me miss the need to layer up.
All the coats are gorgeous but no one sells a piece of clothing quite like Emmanuelle Alt, right?
I like the look of a good classic-cut coat.
I can't relate to wearing coats, but if I lived in a different climate, a coat like any of these would do perfectly.
I love the coat Alt is wearing - just gorgeous....
my absolute favorite coat I've ever owned I bought when it was 70+ degrees and had to wait until next winter. It's the result of a collaboration between earnest sewn and canadian goose.(plus it was half off!)
I love bit longer jackets! I've been wearing a minimalistic & structured grey one, a Laura Ashley 2nd hand find. Makes me feel confident!
so rad!
