this is the bed hog that crawls in between us and then stretches her legs out in front of her body and PUSHES us away for more room. she's also a notorious spot stealer. as soon as you get up, she crawls into your warm depression. i never thought i'd allow a dog into bed, but look at that face!

my dog does the same thing!! me and my boyfriend wake up and we are pushed against both edges of the bed with her spread out in the middle, lol

Amanda- that's exactly how I wake up most days. One day I'm going to fall off the bed I swear!
Wendyb- Santos sometimes yelps in her sleep, and her cheeks puff out. When she did it the first time I was scared she was having a seizure!

ROFL my dog does the same thing, except she's much smaller but is ALL muscle. i can't stand it when she pushes us away for more room! it drives me nuts.

-h: yes! it looks better from far away, in my opinion (I'm a bit of a perfectionist with projects). I read some books on how to tuft properly, and the process took a long long time w/help from my boyfriend! I wish I had a practice headboard so I could have worked out some of the kinks we came across. Turned out ok though. I have to take some pictures of it one of these days.
hal- santos is all muscle and looooong legs (and we have a double bed!) so i'm always waking up on the edge of the bed!
brickhouse- whippets are THE BEST! i know every dog is different, but she was such a great puppy, hardly got into any trouble, relatively easy to train too! she's just a picky eater and a bit of a klutz/accident prone.

Wow - let me just add, me too. My Oliver is all long legs and muscle. Every morning, I wake up with his four paws in my back, almost on the floor, and my boyfriend wakes with Ollie's back pressing him into the wall. Ah, the love of a dog.
Oh our dogs are the same, some people don't get why you would let a dog in your bed, I couldn't imagine not having them in there. Your dog is just divine !!!!!1

We have the same issue with our island dog (local term for "mutt"). I think this is quite common with dogs on beds.
We have a full-size bed (the room is too small for a queen-size, literally). And when the cat joins, it's seriously close quarters. And we're all spread out much as possible because it's a hot climate. And yet, we let them sleep with us. It's crazy.
