closet envy

Closet Envy

ok, i wish i had this closet! the only thing it needs is a big section for shoes. i like the layout though, like a long fashion gauntlet. when we were looking at apartments a few had pass-thru closets like this to the ensuite bathroom.

closet reorganization has hit a stand-still. maybe i can convince my dad to make me my storage unit this weekend. i did buy some thin flocked hangers as per somebody's recommendation, and it has provided me with so much more space! now i just have to get rid of all these wooden hangers!

very envious right now

that closet is bigger than my second bedroom! if i didn't have a baby, i would be tempted to turn it into a walk-in closet...

thinner hangers would probably help my closet overcrowding, too.

this is so lovely. i'm now inspired to redo my closet. though no amount of reorganizing is gonna make it look this gorgeous.

my closet situation is pretty bleak (got clothes in two houses...not enough storage at home!) so this one looks really desirable.
my dream is to live in a place with an extra bedroom next to the master, knock out the wall between, and have a big room-sized dressing room/closet!

that is a really beautiful closet. great palette and aesthetic.
thinner hangers are practical, but I still like the elegance of wooden... don't dump them, send them here!

I know, it feels so wrong to get rid of all my wooden hangers! I don't want to, but realistically I don't have anywhere to put them.

wandered over to your blog looking for interior design/home office layout. I would bet my right pinky toe that those are the pax wardrobes from ikea. We bought a bunch of them and used them to retrofit exiting floor to ceiling reach-in closets for the place we just bought. They are not too expensive and if you have a day to put them together, not too much work. They also come with doors (and a really great pull-out shoe rack) so you could make a whole wall of your room a giant reach in closet.
