making a list...

jon was getting some alterations to his suit the other day and i was watching, while flipping through june's us vogue that they had at the tailors. i found a couple of great outfits that i'd love to reproduce. scans from tfs.

i like this look. reminds me i need to get some french terry and start making sweatpants! this alexander wang pair is cute with the ribbed hem and exposed placket. paired with that amazing sleeveless white blazer, velvet belt and pumps (proenza pumps i should say!) elevates them from lounging on the sofa!

ahh the white jean look that haunts me every summer! i just love it. i really like the sigerson morrison sandals and balmain lace top. i think some yardage of lace is in my future ;)

also, i started reading a book on my work trip, and it's really got my brain working again :)

I posted about my need of those Wang sweatpants. I need those so badly!

I used to be iffy on white jeans. I would try them on and get visions of J. Lo and walk away. But this season I found a pair at Levi's of all places and on sale. They are now my fave jeans and I have to say I am about to go back and stock up.

which book are you reading?

I was reading "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Fast" by Jonathan Safran Foer. It was really good. I've just started reading Harry Potter (never read the books before) and plan on going through our bookcase and reading every book I haven't read (mostly of my boyfriend's collection) I forgot how much I enjoy reading :)
