i realized i forgot to share some of the things i brought home with me on our last trip to tokyo. this brooch from ann demeulemeester was one of the first things i bought. the department store isetan has a wonderful little corner that i wouldn't mind not leaving. in this dark little corner held rick owens, haider ackermann, ann demeulemeester, undercover, margiela and others. they had a decent selection of ann, including jewelry. i got the brooch, but these earrings are seriously amazing in person. one of the sales girls was wearing them and i'm still jealous.

I love those earrings and the brooch! I have a spider necklace that is similar to the brooch that made me almost cry when I saw it.
I snapped up a couple of the AD brooches too!

by the time i decided to give in and pick up one of these brooches, they were sold out, as per usual.
