*thank-you for entering! the contest is now closed. congratulations to hanna!*

you are in luck! i was contacted last week from chickdowntown.com to hold a contest for a free item of clothing of my choice! (ps. they have a massive sale going on right now, i was actually browsing the site before i was emailed to do the contest!)

as a prize, i picked a pair of current/elliot skinny slouch jeans (a $214-248 value!). this is my favorite fit of jean- a bit narrow but still comfy and slouchy. they are giving you a choice of three colours if you win:

super slouch skinny
super slouchy skinny, as seen here (my personal favorite)

skinny slouch loved
skinny slouch in loved, as seen here

skinny slouch love destroyed
or skinny slouch in love destroyed, as seen here

so here are the rules:

-leave a comment and tell me what you would wear with your jeans if you win.

-make sure there is a way for me to contact you if you win. so include your email, or at least make sure your email is in your google profile (and your profile is open to view!).

-the contest will close July 5 at midnight, when a winner will be randomly chosen.

-the last rule, (sadly) this contest is only open to US residents! sorry! (i can't even enter my own contest)

I'd wear the super slouchy skinny with a white tee, fierce heels, and loads of jewelry.

I love those jeans they look fabulous! I would totally rock them in a floral cami and some patent black open toe heels. Thanks for the chance to win!

I've never owned a pair of Current/Elliott jeans but from all of the rave reviews I've read about them, I'd say I'd wear them with everything! The skinny slouch in love destroyed would be a great addition to my current wardrobe. I'm hoping to upgrade slowly and this would definitely be motivation. I'd wear them with a sear sucker blazer with lace detailing (very vintage!) that I own with maybe a white tank underneath, black flats and a few chain-ish necklaces.

oooh, how cool would this be? I'm almost out of non-destroyed (and I don't mean in a chic way) jeans.

I'd grab those jeans in "loved" and pair them with my oversize taup-and-blue-stripe silk blouse, a loose vest, and my black kenneth cole ankle booties with the ruching detail on the sides and the precariously skinny heels (my campus is paved with bricks and it rains a lot. They actually post signs encouraging people to wear flat shoes with good tread so that you don't slip. It's that bad.)

Being on a husband imposed budget, I have refrained from buying any new denim as of late even though I would love a pair of Current/Elliots.

In real life I would wear the super slouchy skinny pair with the white DIY Rachel Allegra that I have been working on forever and hope to finish one day and some NDC sandals that I have in my closet.

But in a world with no imposed budgets, I would would wear a real Rachel Allegra with the super slouch skinnys and short Golden Goose boots. I would have arms full of silver and leather bracelets and a Pamela Love claw necklace to complete the look.

My email is chroncilesofshred at gmail

Thanks for the chance! Super bummer that you can't enter your own contest!

Wow Steph! That's so cool that you get to do a giveaway!! But sucks ass that you can't win them yourself! What's up with that? Man...do I ever love those jeans in loved...and do I ever wish I was at my pre-pregnancy weight for this!

Ahh! Love the skinny slouchies! I'd wear them with my well-worn vintage Yellowstone National Park baseball tee and a pair of monochrome Converse high tops. OR for night, my slouchy, double v neck kimono sleeve top, strappy Dolce Vita gladiator heels, and my salvaged leather, zipper and feather earrings by etsy seller RackandRuin.

no doubt these jeans would become my faves and I would throw them on with anything from my Elizabeth and James sweatshirt cape and ballet flats, my Hanes white tee and flip flops, or a nice sweater and heels!

I would rock these with the floral print housecoat I just bought at k-mart!

awesome! I'd wear mine with my fave Margiela booties (the foldover leather ones from last A/W collection) and slouchy tees (Alex Wang maybe).

As opposed to just about every other time in my life, I am desperately in need of jeans (that's what weight gain does to you).

Eloise at the Plaza said...

i would wear them with a striped t, little boy blazer, an art deco rhine stone necklace, and cap toe flats.

I love the lighter pair - so perfect for summer, and the right amount of destruction. I'm currently shopping at thrift stores only (recessionista chic!) and today I picked up a semi-sheer navy blue vintage blouse with an abstract red white and blue pattern (99 cents!) that would look great with these jeans. I'd pair them with my red vintage Gucci speedy bag and a pair of brown suede Bettye Muller flat gladiator sandals I got last season. I never know quite what to wear on the Fourth of July, but this seems like the perfect outfit to me. Thanks for your great blog!

I would wear Current/Elliots with good basics. A loose washed heather grey pocket tshirt, a mish-mash of silver and gold jewelery, Rayban wayfarers, and some heavy black heels or boots.

Skinny slouch with purple mary janes and a slubby tank.

I'd wear the super slouchy skinnies with Isabel Marant's gold-colored pull-on cowboy booties, and a loose tank and black blazer. Love!

Ding said...

i'd love to wear these with brown suspenders, brown oxfords, and a basic white t, like an American Apparel deep V-neck.
