doppelgänger

if you adored acne's niara wedge sandal from last spring, but didn't want to pay full price for them like a chump before they sold out (like me), now is your chance to get an identical pair from jeffrey campbell for a quarter of the price.

jeffrey campbell's "asti" $118

Love my new shoes!
my acne niara wedges $sigh.muchmore
this picture is from our old house. how i miss our brick.

Dolce Vita makes a knock-off of them too, but I still think yours are nicer! And if it makes you feel any better, I just did the same thing with this year's Acne Estrada Highs... couldn't bring myself to wait!

i think aldo even makes them too...

ooh, those are pretty good. Did you see the J.Campbell knockoffds of the Ann D sandals? I blogged about them recently. Not totally convinced, but they're the closest thing I've seen...

i just bought those the other day! they are so comfy.

the mass market shoe companies are really stepping it up lately.

this is great, I have been looking for great shoes, but at a much cheaper price... what are some of the better knock off sites. That would be a great post, for my budget needs!

erin- i saw that too. i think these are more of an accurate copy. the new version (estrada) is so nice. i wish i got those instead! they are so sleek.

-h: i saw some suede ones there that looked kinda similar, with cut-outs...

shay: thanks! saw those, but not a fan of the top part. i would probably cut it off. i think i am going to wait for the real thing, even if i have to wait months or years to get them!

burnthesebones: i know, they are getting more on-trend, which is nice. i remember a few years ago going to london and being amazed at how amazing the high street shoes were compared to the affordable brands we have in north america.

aimee: i would say look at jeffrey campbell, steve madden, aldo, nine west, bakers shoes, and obviously asos and topshop. there are some great affordable shoes out there! they tempt me all the time.

Hi, I read on Vanillascented that you were thinking of selling your Niaras? How much are you thinking of selling them for? If you're interested, email ohmylungs at gmail, thanks!

inaya- yes, in that instance they are especially annoying! saving for months to get a pair of shoes that you truly love is worth it though.

ohmylungs- email me an offer :P
