vulturous

i can't wait for this to arrive. i've been eyeing sharon montrose's animal photographs for a few weeks now. i finally ordered a 16" x 18.5" print of the vulture above. it's going to go in the bathroom.

she has a deal going on right now if you buy three or more small prints you get one free, or if you buy a large one you get a small one for free. for my free small print i picked the owl. i just love owls. they're so fascinating. i remember in elementary school my class did a whole project on owls and even went to the forest to find owl pellets and dissected them to see what they were eating. they like mice. it's amazing the things you can recall from association. i have a horrible memory, but it is jogged by certain images, feelings, scents, songs, etc.

sometimes i think i should have gone into a different field of study than i did...

Owls have such cute expressions, even when they're trying to be serious.

I love owls! We didn't get to go to a forest, but I remember dissecting owl pellets in second grade.
