it snowed 10cm today. i wish we had a prettier view, so i made some little snowmen to look at through the window. twigs for arms and noses, yarn scarves, and pepper kernels or buttons for eyes. i wish i had a toboggan.

I totally need to check out your Japan pics! I can't believe i make the move to Toronto in two weeks, and i'm horrified at the prospect of living with snow :( Looks like I'm going to be needing more than a leather jacket....

ahhh so cute! vancouver had snow when i was a kid and then for so long there was just rain. it looks so beautiful under that white blanket.

thanks! it was pretty fun. i'm glad i got a picture because they slid off the railing after a half hour. i was really hoping they would last long enough for the office people across the alley to see them, but i don't think they did.
fp- you must be excited! you will definitely need to get a parka or at least a nice thick wool or cashmere coat and lots of layers (gloves and scarf mandatory)
minirobot- i know, it seems so rare here. its actually been sticking around which is kind of nice (for those of us who dont have to drive anywhere)
