oaknyc

oak has been blowing my mind lately- i don't know if they got a new buyer or what, but they stepped up their game tons. there are so many things on their site that i would love to add to my wardrobe. (form cardigan above)

now that i'm on the topic of clothing and shopping, i've got to admit that i'm the worst at spring and summer dressing- i look at my closet when it's too warm out for sweaters and jeans and i just have no idea what to do. i really need to come up with some staple spring/summer outfits that i can just grab and not think. i think it's because i like to layer and i feel like i can't do that when it's warm out. it was pretty warm a few weekends ago and you should have seen me standing in front of my closet for 20 minutes like a deer in the headlights. something needs to be done. research is in order.

anyway, here are some great picks from oak that i wish could be mine...

marios striped tank dress

yes i'm loving their photography too! its great that they show a lot of different shots of the same garment. i've had to clutch my wallet very tightly while browsing their site...

I have the exact same problem! When I can't layer my clothes they feel totally boring an uninspired. Got to find some extraordinary tops for summer, so please post here if you find anything good!

I have to agree. Love your blog, I posted a similar entry about Oak as well. I really do wonder if they have a new buyer. Do you mind if I link you? I feel like we have a lot in common. xo

Part of me wishes it was cold all the time so I can just keep layering like I want- but I like the warmth and the sunshine. When it's dark for a long time I tend to get a bit depressed.

breathe design- feel free! I'm checking out your blog right now- I love your header!
