indiana jones -orama

three of my all-time favorite movies are the indiana jones trilogy. i wanted to be an archaeologist when i was younger, and i'm pretty sure it was because of the indiana jones movies. i can watch them over and over again and not get tired of them. needless to say i'll be at the movie theatre with bells on when the new one comes out!

for some reason i decided to create polyvore outfits around each movie... yes, i know. i'm a dork.

Indiana Jones- Raiders of the Lost Ark

Indiana Jones- The Temple of Doom

Indiana Jones- The Last Crusade

i loved the indiana jones trilogy. i was obsessed with the movies! these outfits are a lot of fun. i don't think you're a dork. indiana jones is probably a major reason why i'm obsessed with vintage fashion.

Oh i love that trilogy! I actually just recently just re-watched it all in anticipation of the new installment. The outfits are so great... I would jump into Raiders of the Lost Ark in a second! But I always had a soft spot for the Last Crusade

erica1- what's your favorite out of the three?

I watched raiders of the lost ark yesterday- in the past it has been my least favorite of the three, but i liked it more this time for some reason. my favorite is the last crusade- gotta love sean connery!

hah, the last crusade was on repeat on TBS all weekend. sigh, river phoenix... anyway, these are brilliant outfits. the 2nd is my fave - the harem trousers, the gold heels and the huge diamond make such a cool combination!

Ok, so I knew the new installment was going to be like 15 years later or whatever it is in real time but for some reason I thought it would be set in present day! I saw the preview before Iron Man (good movie) this weekend and it is like 15 years later but it is in the 50s! I got such a kick out of that. Know what else I thought was hilarious? The villains are still German!

erica- that's good news! I'm glad it wasn't set in present day. that would bum me out. I kinda like that the villains are still the nazi's. I really hope they don't ruin it with this "young indiana/son" thing... I'm trying not to read anything about the movie because I want to go in "fresh"!

oops! I will refrain from telling you anymore! I cannot wait!
