we started looking at lofts again last weekend, as we may be in the market for one soon. i love me some exposed concrete, wood beams and brick. i wish there was more of it in this city, and for cheaper! we managed to check out the new home store provide that had some good offerings from martha sturdy, jonathan adler, swans island, heath ceramics as well as lighting by niche modern. they also had a great big felt box, perfect for fire wood.

i know- swans island blankets are so gorgeous but soooo expensive! one day for me as well...
i love house hunting too, except I get sad when we look at a fabulous place and find out we can't afford it :(
oooh, a loft, that is on my wish list of things. i just love the open space, huge window panes and structure of a loft. can't wait to see a future post of your newfound loft/home!
Grr to house hunting!!! Brett and I are looking for a bigger place and have realized that a house is out of our league, so we are now aiming at a townhouse. I thought the market would die down by now, but really, it hasn't!! Good luck to you and Jon!! Hopefully you guys will get something faster than me and Brett!!
Good luck Mel! I hope it's cheaper over there than it is here. Jon is selling his place so we have to decide whether to buy or rent. Still up in the air.
