we headed off to the flea market in the morning or "les puces" as they are known. i heard that the st. ouen one was the best/most organized/biggest so we went to the end of line 4 to check it out. i forgot my camera on that day (!) so i don't have any pictures unfortunately.
apparently we were too early, as most of the stalls in the flea market were still closed. just the new clothing peddling stores were open. it kind of baffles me that they all sell the same thing! it seemed like every booth was selling converse sneakers, miscellaneous counterfeit denim, and hoochie tops.
once the rest of the flea market opened it was evident that i was probably not going to find what i was looking for. there was so much stuff! you really need the better part of a day to sift through everything, and i did not want to torture jon, who hates these kind of things to begin with. we took a look for a while and then left to visit the jardin des tuileries and walk down the av des champs élysées to the arc de trimomphe.
as i mentioned, i didn't have my camera so jon took some pictures with the iphone.

i picked up some magazines for the flight the next morning: Paris Vogue Dec/Jan and Jalouse Dec/Jan

we couldn't resist quick burger on the champs élysées. we had to do something touristy!

we headed to la vallée village outlet all the way out by disneyland. jon was hoping to score at the paul smith outlet, and i was curious about the comptoir des cotonniers and zatig & voltaire ones.
i ended up getting a great deal at comptoir des cotonniers. i got this leather chain purse for 19€ (regular 99€)

my feet were kiiiiiling me, so we went back to the hotel so i could change my shoes and get my camera. we decided to get some sight seeing in before we had to leave. we checked out hotel de ville where there was ice skating. i wanted to ice skate but the line-up was so long and the music kind of killed it for me (green day?!)

creepy green room

the last thing we did was go see the eiffel tower. i had only seen it during the day, so it was nice to see it lit up at night.

cool chairs at our last metro station back to our hotel.
au revoir paris!!

waiting at the airport for our flight home- displaying what i will miss most: fresh croissants and orangina!

Thank you so much for detailing your trip for everyone. As I sit in my boring office in boring Washington, DC, your photos are like a ray of sunshine for me. If I ever get to go back to Paris, I'm using your itinerary as a guide!

Wonderful Paris advice! I'm going in March and will be tracking down some of these stores! Thank you.
Lucky you! How long are you going for?
Um, a week, I hope? Reality will probably curb it down to 4 days! I'll have to cram a lot in...
