nuitblanche

i finally was able to frame my bear print from etsy seller nuitblanche this week after jon picked up a frame from ikea for me. i bought a mat cutter a while back because i had so many prints from etsy to frame. i've become pretty good at cutting my own, which i'm sure has saved me a lot of money. nuitblanche is an illustration student from hamburg, germany.

Framed NuitBlanche Print

i also really like the mandragora dolls she makes

that print is wonderful. i love her dolls, too.

a mat cutter makes a lot of sense. i don't know why it's never crossed my mind to buy one. silly me!

i am definitely on an etsy kick myself.

you should get one! especially if you buy a lot of prints like i do. i got mine on ebay because it was a lot cheaper than my local art store. i did a bit of research on them and most people seem to recommend the Logan Deluxe Pull Style, which is what i have.

thanks for the tip, stephanie. i've been buying way too many prints lately. i hate framing them without a proper mat, so i guess i should start tracking cutters on ebay.

Thanks Steph!! I have A LOT of prints that I have never bothered to frame cause I was nervous to do them myself and would rather spend the money professional framing them on something else...like more prints! I have prints from like, 5 years ago still in the mailing tubes!

Oh hey, you planning on going to Granville Island anytime soon? Felt placemats...

hey mel! yes, i didn't want to waste money on framing either. get a mat cutter then next time you're at ikea stock up on frames. I haven't forgotten about your placemats! I've just been busy with work as soon as I got back from paris and haven't had time for much else. i will keep you posted though.

Wow I love the creatures of nuitblanche. I'm so impressed you have your own mat cutter. Brilliant!
